While in the Army Darryl served as an Infantry Company Commander in Viet Nam and as an Instructor/Operations Officer at the Army Ranger School. After a 25-year career in the Army, he served as Director for Leadership Education at the Virginia Military Institute for several years. He obtained his real estate license in 1990 and began working at Stonewall Country Properties, Inc. in 1993, where he specializes in historic properties, commercial properties, farms and land.
